Fresh, unique, ear-catching stuff from Hamburg's Deo & Z-Man on hafendisko, showcasing their eclectic sensibility and a truly singular style. 

In its 'Private Party' version 'Rambrendt' absolutely teems with surprises: a journey that kicks off in lo-fi territory takes in delayed vocal repetitions, some serious action on the cowbells, textured synths aplenty, a rhythm track composed of cut-up syllables and an eerie, imaginative descending jazz scat. Beat that! 

Meanwhile, the 'Profi Mix' offers a stripped-back contrast, with an alternative pallet of analogue sounds on show.

Superguru and DJ Kaos are an ideal foil for the duo - a kindred spirit who shares their magpie sensibility, relentless experimentalism and obsession with outboard gear. Their version adds serious bass heft and a sense of deep spaciousness. Squidgy in all the right places it's also injected with an irresistible swing. A true feast for the senses.

Meanwhile, Leipzig's Panthera Krause brings out the classic drum machine sounds to conjure up an old-school electro feel - Bambaataa jamming on an MPC. It's no holds barred machine-music funk. What could be better?
