Brynjolfur by Joakim Grundahl

Faroese DJ and producer Brynjolfur has been one of the most talked about names on the Danish electronic scene in recent years.

He made an early impact with his acid fueled DJ sets and energetic remixes for artists such as Diplo (feat. MØ), Kasper Bjørke and Vinnie Who. With his single "I Love You”, released on legendary Eskimo Recordings in the summer of 2013, Bryn broke the international barrier and was featured in Mixmag, had his video premiered on XLR8R Magazine and a heavy rotation on KCRW in Los Angeles.

Brynjolfur’s follow up releases „Chain Glass" and “The Save EP” were released on hafendisko in 2014 and the video for "The Save" was premiered on Clash Music, calling him “a leading light”, and acclaimed DJs such as Tensnake supported the track big time. Brynjolfur also received the prestigious Sound of Copenhagen Talent Award.

Expect dark disco acid vibes with raving live instrumentation and stunning visuals when Brynjolfur takes the stage. He proofed his skills live on stage e.g. at Spot Festival, the Sónar Festival in Copenhagen and Midem. Actually he had the honour to be one of the inaugural Midem Artist Accelerator winners of 2015! Choosen from 500 candidats all 10 finalists performed live on the Midem Festival open-air stage in Cannes and benefited from a tailored programme during the tradeshow.

Brynjolfur travels the world as a DJ, but also performs live with his three piece live outfit.
