This is what Groove Magazine wrote about Kasper Bjørke’s new single ‘Heaven’:
It’s not only since yesterday that the Dance-Producers have their sight on the Rolling Stones, as proven by the constantly recurring renaissance of their song “Miss You”. On his album “Standing On Top Of Utopia” Kasper Bjørke turned their acoustic trip “Heaven” into a melodic pop song, while he chose three remixes on the “Heaven”-single. Muzzle Flash delivers a solid house rework, which is, considering the heavenly 10 minute version of Prins Thomas, almost negligible. But right in front of heaven’s gate is the man of the moment, Nicolas Jaar. Enriched with his own live instrumentation he conjures a sensational airy, but still mysterious version which is already to be awarded as “Best Of 2010″. (Groove)

Swiss artists Florence Tétier and Florian Joye are about to produce a video clip for Kasper Bjørke’s upcoming single ‘Heaven’ to be released mid July 2010 on hfn music. The single is then the third outtake from his marvellous album ‘Standing On Top Of Utopia’.
Florence Tétier and Florian Joye are part of the Fortune Collective, who was already responsible for the wonderful video of the first single ‘Young Again’.

Kasper has recently been working on some remixes. His mix of ‘One’ by P.toile was just released on Kina Music. Upcoming are his reworks of Rah Band: ‘Cloud Across The Moon’ on Great Stuff Recordings and This Is Head: ‘0011′ on Adrian Recordings.
Apart from that he’s been producing some new tracks on his outlet Bjørke & Barford to be released this summer.
And multi-talented as he is, he did the concept for a stunning and extremly popular video clip, to be seen here.

Trentemøller is playing the last but one DJ gig in 2010 in New York this thursday. As his new full length artists album will be released soon he now begins practicing with his live band. So stay tuned until autumn when Trentemøller’s live tour will hit the world. Mor info soon!

The video for ‘Sycamore Feeling‘, the first single from Trentemøller’s new album ‘Into The Great Wide Yonder’ (album release end of May 2010) is written and directed by New York-based Danish video artist Jesper Just. Set in the deserted ghost town of Centralia, PA, notorious for a mine fire that has burned beneath the ground since 1962, the video shifts between images of the desolate cityscape with smoke and steam rising from the earth, and a woman moving through an abandoned house.

Two danish fans of Kasper Bjørke produced a video clip for his new single track ‘Alcatraz’ from excerpts of the german/czech child movie ‘Odysseus und die Sterne’ from 1976. Although it is not an official video we’d like to announce it here because we really think it’s great.

The first three weeks of January Trentemøller and Kasper Bjørke will be on tour through Brazil. But this is surely not the only reason why Trentemøller is nominated for the best foreign act at Brazil’s Cool Magazine Awards.

Danish all-rounder Anders Trentemøller, who is responsible for the first release on hfn music “Harbour Boat Trips – Copenhagen by Trentemøller”, is on the ‘52nd Annual Grammy Awards Nominees List’ category ‘Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical’ (category 93) for his remix of Franz Ferdinand’s ‘No You Girls’ from the album Blood on Domino Records.
